Leighrallying took a major step towards the 1400cc title taking 2nd in class, but taking a championship win to leave the crew well in front of the chasing pack.

The day was not without drama with the crew loosing complete brakes on stage 4 due to the hub nut coming loose again. The crew managed to change the hub in service to restore the brakes.

The afternoon saw the crew ease off a little as the knew the leading crew of Julian and will were not registered for points.

The crew finished 33rd overall and second in class.
